Thought I would say Hi as I have just collected a Syncro Velle (ex DH Scooby powered bus). The trip homw was somewhat amazing compred to the 2.1 Westy. It took about 1/3 less time and slowing down for corners was optional.
The power delivery of the Scooby 2.2 is very nice and it keeps coming.
So got home grinning like an idiot. Have lots to do on the beast to get it how I would like it but DH has done a lot of the groundwork.

Tom was singing its praises once he had finished the conversion; never got to ride in while it was in Bristol which was a shame. I know Tom put a lot of 'love' into doing the work; so i reckon you got yourself a 'one off' special, enjoy; and hope to see you at a Syncronauts meet soon !

Yep, seems Thomas did a good job on the conversion and the set up. It handles very well on the road.
The main thing for me now is to tackle the bodywork which needs a bit of fettling and to get the interior sorted to carry 7 adults plus kit.
Will photo document the process for any other anorak who may be interested.

Good lord, that 3 potential new Syncronauts in 3 days 
So welcome here, bet its a bit tempting to drive through the bushes and up the nearest hill, just to make sure they can do it - I was tempted when first got one, but fortunately had a hillside allotment to play on. Soon discovered they're useless without a propshaft fitted
But incredible with one!
If it needs a bit of seam fettling you're in good company, and there's a whole load of stuff in Wiki about that too. A tip if bodywork and longevity concerns you... rattle out the sh*te from those box sections when its throughly dry with fencing wire and a powerful vacuum, you'll be amazed what comes out (and how long it takes). As long as they're not full of damp mud/silt/clay/sheepshite all winter long. Others wash it out with a hose, doesn't seem to work for me, leaves it full of sludge....
You'll soon find where all those blanking plugs are - hopefully
And Paul - start practising - getting those underrun protectors off single-handed, without a jack and at night when its raining - and back on again. Good for the soul
