Problems starting

Sometimes on turning the key nothing happens, push starts fine everytime. I've checked/cleaned the terminals on the starter motor which seemed to cure it, then 2 weeks later same again. Happens when it's hot or cold.

Any suggestions? Cheers.

whip the starter out, check that the little copper bush is intact, this sometimes causes bother! i'd also have a look along the run of the starter feed, if it is damaged anywhere it may be shorting adn not starting! this happened with mine, right old pain in the preverbial!!
