This is an outstanding problem on my AAZ coversion. I recon the engine is ticking over at 1000 - 1500 revs (no rev counter)
Am doing more local short journeys now and problem is more apparent.
The throttle actuating lever is at the limit of travel with the stop slackened off
What other adjustment options are there?

maybe the throttle linkage/arm has been fitted incorrectly and the thottle is being held open , remove the arm viva the 8/10 mm nut and move it round a couple of splines, mark every thing befor you start so if it does work you can return every thing to wre you started from

if its not broke dont fix it, or i will

This ofetn happens when the main fuellling screw has been screwed in, to increase fuelling.

AAZ fast tickover
Thanks for the advice, I have managed to reduce tickover marginally.
As economy is good ( 37mpg overall) I am reluctant to attempt trial and error adjustment. In any event I am not sure which is the actual screw.
Many Thanks
