Gas Bottle adaptor

I bought a reg from a caravan shop, cut the pipe and fitted it on, with a clamp just in case.

Works fine.

How are you going to refill the gas bottle. Before i had the underslung tank recconected i went to a garage/ camping shop and the guy looked at my german bottle and said i would have to change(the bottle) for an English one. Two other sources have said the same. One of them works for Gasure the other is another member who has a 'Westy Joker'. The latter took his german gas bottle to the tip, which is where mine will be going shortly.

Have you not got an under slung tank on your Westy?

No mate no underslung tank on mine just a gas bottle under the sink

Well i could try but the geezer in the shop says its illegal in this country to have that kind of pressure in a motorhome/caravan??
