It's all new to me...help!
Hello to everyone, hope to meet you all soon. I've just taken the plunge and purchased a 1985 T25 Leisuredrive pop-top camper, 1915cc petrol watercooled engine with LPG conversion and 5 speed gearbox. This is my first vee dub so all help and advice is gladly received. Thanks to the club i got a discount from my insurance with Adrian Flux so we're on to a winner straight away. The van is all white with a good solid body and so far evrything works...bonus! I've had the LPG system checked and certified locally and it runs great on this fuel. The splits and bays seem very quaint but i noticed i passed several of them on the motorway so i think i made the right choice. My bus is a daily runner and will be taken near and far cuz we love travelling so i'd welcome tips on reliability. If any other members have Leisuredrive vehicles i'd like to compare notes. My van had a Morco water heater connected but i have removed this to gain more storage space...anyone like it for spares or their own van. You will have to collect from Stoke. Planning a full service this weekend with the van up on the ramps so i will be able to get a good look at the thing. My first love is Harleys so no real changes, i'll still get there eventually but always in style!! See you all soon.Wobbly

Cheers to you all!
Thanks guys for all the offers of support n stuff, it is welcome. Rigged up the water system, tested the 12 volt supply (sussed out the Zig unit thanks to the manual download advice above) but couldn't get the mains to kick in. Read a bit about RCD's in another forum and went out to check if mine had one lurking in the cupboard and wadda y'know, there it was, switched to off! Bugger. I've taken the two roof hammocks out to save weight (only need the bed) and i'm looking for a good awning to buy... any suggestions? Just need a small one really, give a bit of extra space for lozocking abite in the sun (or rain, this is England!)

Wobbly,
Its a Sunncamp Nova, same as this one but the outer is slightly different colour, no draught excluder, groundsheet or inner tent.
Good thick rubberised canvas.
Looking for £125.
