There is one manufacturer for the cranked link rods, which is VW.
GSF buy theirs from VW, as I should imagine JK do.
VW have made the part in question obsolete, and they have no more.
GSF have also sold out, and were the same price as VW anyway.
JK, I should imagine have probably sold out too, and I can't see them being any different price to the other 2.
Repair yours or buy second hand.
GSF and JK prices are very similar, if you want a part that works as it is meant to, and will carry on working for years to come then buy VW.

I just repaired my Cranked link bar a few weeks back to get it thru the MOT. When the link bar broke originally I just took the whole lot of and put it behind the garage. Handled just as well mind you !
I ground the broken thread end flat & simply drilled and and tapped it M12 and put a bolt up through with a spacer tube. Easy !
It is most probably stronger than the original unit now.
Total cost = £0.00 and passed the MOT.

Tidy, I stand corrected.
I got some too today, It seems that VW don't make them anymore the licence has been thrown open to the aftermarket and you can now buy spurious ones! Bonus!
Lets just hope that VW stop selling rectangular headlamps leaving Hella to sell them on the aftermarket and let the price come down a tad.
