How easy is it to cut out a cab divider
...and can it be done cleanly?
Me and my brother did it with an angle grinder and a sledge hammer!!
We melted the battery cover and put a hole in the drivers seat from the hot swarf from the angle grinder.
If I did it again I would defo drill the spot welds or use an air saw. Even if you drill the spot welds, there is still a bit where you would need to cut.
It took us about 5 hours in total includling filing back all the sharp bits, trimming the seat boxes and repainting parts of the B pillars

oh
Leave it in.
I was going to cut mine out, but my brother bought a t 25 without that bit and i didnt think it looked that good to be honest, if you want to just have access to the rear you could just make a little doorway in it between the seats, that would probaly look ok.
I left mine in and carpeted it and made a unit to fit it with a sink and cooker in, it looks great.
Plus it strengthens the van.

Does the van need it for structural ridgidity?
Or is there enough strength left?

If you get it out cleanly, I (or somebody like me) could be interested in taking it off your hands. I never never step between the seats, but do often carry heavy objects. But if you decide to take it out, please let me know, cheers, Steve.
