I know some one said something somewhere about another VW S/wheel that fitted the T3. Any ideas. I hope so.. Thanks in hope

Yes that is what I am looking for. A steering wheel boss to fit the T3 that will take a s/wheel with a 3.5 in center hole, or can be adapted.

Splines are the same as a MKI or MKII Golf, MKI or MKII Polo, basically everything VW upto about 1990 has the same spline arrangement, well, I think Beetles changed at some piont.
Be aware that once fitted you may end up with a load of play in the top of the column.

Thanks for replies .
Hacksawbob....

I wish to fit this particular S/wheel as it holds a lot of memories for me. I have always managed to fit it to every motor I have owned for the last **years. I won the wheel many years ago in Motor sport competition, and consider it to be a lucky charm  almost. If you see what I mean

Simon

I have read some where about the upse, downse play, but I am sure there must be a way to overcome this particular problem. One thing Simon, you may know, on the original steering wheel if I was to remove all the covering (plastic Etc.) would I be left with enough metal to make a boss? Or even one of the S/wheels you mention.?
