Love the engine noise, but any way to quieten it just a bit?

Post by macthejaffa »

I love the sound of my T25 engine as I chug along, but I've seen others that sound great too, but none quite as loud as mine...Is there a way to quieten this noise just a wee bit, or muffle it?[/i]

if you have a standard exhaust,

may be you need to check you dont have any leaks from the sealing/joining surfaces easily spotted by missing/loose nuts/studs.
and black soot from were the leak is.

a good after market choice for T25's (non diesel) is always a twin quite pack NOT A GLASS PACK. As they say "Some adjustment may be required" that means your lower rear panel.

Get the SSP catalogue from VW Heritage its free!

although could be the inside could be missing the sound proofing!

Happy hunting!
