Well I'm the lucky punter who bought Russels Syncro drove it home and have managed to break it already. Stopped off at a mates place about a mile away to pick up my eldest and forgot to take the handbrake off whilst reversing 10 metres, realised it was on so took it off. In that ten metres it appears the rear ns brake shoe has seized on. I drove it the mile back to my wondering why I didn't have any power and wondered why it was now difficult to find 1st and 2nd. I left it an hour to see if cooling down would sort it but no. Got out the 3 ton jack and discovered it's not tall enough. Ahhhh. Looks like tomorrow morning will be spent taking the wheel off and freeing the brake.
