rear door

Post by timthetrader »

Just got back from vanfest which was brill, my kids loved it and it was nice to met other members so heres my prob I brought a set of BORBET ALLOY WHEELS with tyres. I have fitted them on, the front ones are narrower than the rear ones and they look the B@@@@@k,s. They are 16 inches I believe, but I can hardley open the rear door so what to do, I understand I can get an extention door bar but that sounds alot of messing so any other idea's. There is a little bit of play in the door so can it be adjusted?

Had mine since december going on in the next couple of days......
Bloody lovedabus..........
now everybody is going to have a set........
About the hinge, I have just extended mine.
weld two together, then shorten the track stop to the same lenght that you increased the hinge.....
I only got mine finished thursday night so shortened the track by sellotaping a halfords 15mm socket and a cap from the top sliding door mount.
It closes better than it ever had.....
If you need any help send me a pm.......
