I had something like this on the Mustard Pot once, it turned out to be the plate below the floor that autohomes fit that stops the wind going up the gas locker drop out, it's just a flap of aluminium - one of the screws had rusted out and it was flapping - took ages to find it though. There's quite a few bits underneath on a factory camper they can all work loose.

May sound dumb but...

Have you checked the mudflaps are on tight?

I sh@t it when I'd first got my van and had the flapping terror noise of doom - got worse and worse, looked at everything I could think of (which isn't a huge amount I know). Then when my mum opened passenger window and listened she said it was mudflap. Tightened screw and fitted the clampy bit and all happy and quiet again.

Just an idea from experience! Good luck!

Flapping noises

Post by stevewright76 »

:rofl

I drove off with my pop-top up after first ever camping in my old bay - then in panic closed it without checking what had fallen down side - bit of wood caused a SPROING noise as a popped one of the hinges...

Worked fine for next 3 months to and from morocco but was well wonky when down.
