What tyres (brand) are you using on 16" alloys?

What tyres (brand) are you using on 16" alloys?

I've had a search around the forum's but didn't find anything about the brand of tyres people are using (apologies if it's there somewhere!)

I'm probably getting 16" alloys this weekend that will need new tyres ie 225 50's or 55's.

What tyres do you have on your van (brand)? Is everyone using tyres with the correct load capacity? Can an MOT inspection fail due to tyres with an incorrect load weight?

Hi
I fitted 205/60/16 94V Kumho's to my 16" x 7.5 merc alloy's they keep the same rolling dia of the standard VW van tyre, but give a good ride and cornering, not to hard, that is with 45m/m lowered springs and JK uprated shocks. I purchased the tyre's from value tyre's delivered for about £200, camskill are doing them for £56 see web address. http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... 5s741p2909.

Pirelli P6 215/60X16..99 they have a good high load rating as they are reinforced..running on merc ML..
AGG 2.0L 8V. (Golf GTi MkIII)
