This might be a stupid question but here goes...
I want to put in a leisure battery for the lights and possibly the heater, I've figured out the relay stuff OK. I think.
But I'm not sure how to wire the lights and heater up to the leisure battery. Al the wiring is well hidden away behind the units and I can't find the wiring for the lights.
Is there likely to be one place in the van such as a fuse box where all the added 12v stuff comes together so I can wire them all up to the leisure battery? Or am I going to have to figure it out for each individual light?
The only thing I can see like a fuse box is trip switches for the 240v hook up. I'm a bit flumoxed. Any advice would be great. There must be a 12v fuse box mustn't there?
The van is an Autohomes conversion from 1988.
THanks very much.

there may be fuses in the main 240v bit! any flaps to lift?? also some conversions put a leisure fuse box on the driver or passenger seat box!! there should be fuses but it ain't garanteed! have you tried removing any fuses from main box? could be linked from there, heater may have it's own fuse, otherwise you;ll have to find them all!

Thanks for the advice. I've had a dig around in the main fuse box and ALL the internal lights and the wee heater run off one fuse there so I reckon I could reroute that. I think it also runs the dash clock and maybe the radio which might be a pain if the leisure battery goes flat, but I might be able to seperate them off.
Two steps forward, one step back. Thanks for the help.
