I've got cruise controll on my 2.1dj and the vacuum accuator is a big bugger, twice as thick, with a much longer stroke.
But My van has an auto box so the CC has to pull in the gearbox lever as well.

Looks like a vacuum advance unit from the distributor of a Stealth Bomber.
