has anybody customised his dashboard, meaning rework it to fit speakers new gauge....

hey dude i took mine out and painted it silver! didnt do out to the centrespeaker mounting tho! ive got 6" componants in me doors tweeters mounted to the air vents at either end of the dash 6x9s under rear bench facin cab area and 2 10" subs facing into their boxes but the boxes are facing the rear bench ?! and it sounds good! you wont get much under the dash you see?

I was thinking more like creating a new dash over the old one to carry 2 6.5" component and tweeter. the subs would go at the rear
