Fitting rear seat belts to high top

Post by vwstanley66 »

Hi, I need to fit rear seat belts to be able to secure a child seat.
I have a high top camper that started life as a regular type 2.5 panel van. Where can i take the van to get seat belts fitted. I lkive in the west Midlands. I dont mind fitting myself if i can buy the proper kit.

You can buy the proper kit from Just Kampers etc. As your van started out as a panel van, you will need to drill the holes and use backing plates.

The seat belts traditionally attach towards the top of the under seat/bed bulkhead, and for 3 point belts at the rear of the van behind the vent (you can fit your backing plate this way).
If you are a playmobil person then your chances of drowning are significantly increased by wearing a life jacket.
