Upper wishbone/control arm bushers (2wd)
Noticed that i have some play in the upper wishbone/control arm and i think i need to replace the bushers,
Bently says to grind off spot weld and then respot the new ones in? is this right ?
tips and tricks please (2wd or 4)

Mark,if they're for the upper wishbone mounting bolt we talked about at RTTH these are the only suspects on GSF :-
42258 MTG-FR WISHBONE UPPER T25 5/79 > 11/90 £11.00
Or from JK (2005 Catalogue) :-
J10306 Upper Wishbone Bush 5/79 > 7/91 (Not Handed) £15-95

ive not done it, we changed the whole wishbone iirc, but then we are sooooo far from gsf it was the only way then....

Yep, you have to drind the little spot seld off and press them out, press the new one in and dab a little spot weld back on.. the weld is for "insurance"... Prob a good idea to get a good SH one and swap it outm then you can do the other ay your lesiure... yes camber is a problem, but try to keep the washers in the sa;e position (easier said than done).... better to get it up to brickwerks...

Sheeet... the spelling was bad... I know why though.. been werkin in Belgium, not a Qwerty keyboard.. its amazing how auick you adapt when typing all week!!!! then back home and the keyboard is French and is set to Anglais, so the keys dont say whats actually on them.... confused?? You should be in my head!!!!

at this moment in time i dont have the money or the time to take it across to Simons , although i have read and heard very very good things about the polly bushes he is fitting, tightens the whole feel and ride up on the van, hopefully one day i'll have it sorted at brickwerks
