Aircooled Gearbox linkage question

Post by skyever »

Hi all, Have just bought an Aircooled 2 litre gearbox to put on my 86 diesel but am unsure of what linkage I need. Do I need the 2000cc linkage or will my existing do, if not where can I find the parts? (the box has a hydraulic clutch)
thanks

I have taken the gearbox out of my 1990 1.6td to replace with a 2ltr aircool box and to change the bell housing and input shaft. There is a problem which i did not realise.Rear mountings are diffrent and gearbox linkage ball into gearbox is further back.My linkage rod needs to be shorter any advice please.

Thanks camper, best of luck finding one, I suppose the 1600 one will fit too. I looked for info but could not find much.
