Putting dual carbs on a CT1600

Post by Flint »

Hello. Searching the forum I found where people have dual carbs but what they used or how they did it. I have a CT with 1679cc displacement and a pair of Dellorto 34 FRD carbs on type 3 dual-port manifolds. I am wondering what was used for linkages and possibly pictures of set ups? Being in Canada there are not of Transporters with CT engine.
Thanks

Hi Bill,

If you were to fit the twin solexes I sent you, you will see that I packed 2 throttle bars... the idea being to modify the length as needed on one of them.
Those big Dellortos are thirsty beasts...

Cordialement

:ok

Hello John

Trying to fit the Solexes I found that I was having clearance issues  by the time I put the air cleaner on. So I was hoping to see what others have done to give me ideas on what I can do.
