Hi,
On the gear box, once I remove the drive shaft, there is a plastic cover held in place by 2 Philips screws.
The screws are all chewed up and I need to replace them. Am I right in thinking they are M7 x 16 with a thread pitch of 1.0?
I can't seem to find a replacement

Re: Driveshaft plastic cover screw size
they are M7 x 1.25 x 13mm part number N 090 173 3 - available from Weddle and Vantopia
me I just re-tap the case to M7 x 1.0, and use nice 16mm long hex head set screws with an extra washer on top of the spring steel retaining plate - you effectively lose 20% of the threads re-tapping at 1.0mm pitch
