Repairing louvered window RHD T25 Auto Sleeper

Post by SallyC »

Thanks to vandals or would be thieves I need to repair (or replace) the louvered window behind the driver’s seat in my 1985 T25 Auto Sleeper. In theory this should be covered by my insurance but National Windscreen is not making much progress - so wondered if anyone here might have any information and advice so I can sort it out myself.

The bottom two slats on the louver immediately behind the driver’s seat miraculously are still intact but all the aluminium phalanges which keep all four slats in place are totally bent back.

The remaining 2 glass slats have a reference - DARBY TUF tempered BS6206 A - is this still available?

Any info or advice gratefully received - many thanks.

Sally 🙂

they aren't available new, you would need to find a used one or possibly replace it with a sliding window which are available new
