How does everyone else solve this issue? I could just make a few holes but I'm not convinced that letting the water pour out onto the roof underneath is a great idea. Is there a danger of it collecting somewhere? Causing rust?

The bathtub on the roof
I have a Westy-style poptop with the moulded luggage bin in front of it. And it fills with water every time it rains. I'm pretty sure this is not a desirable outcome!

The bathtub on the roof
Aren't there already some formed drainage openings - I believe they should be located in the front corners of the tray?
FYI - there's a workshop manual on the Westfaliat3 site here that covers the Westfalia camper installation which gives a bit of detail of how the tray is fitted - it's in German but should be readily translatable.
In any case, if it’s never been done, it might be worth taking the front tray off and checking the condition of the roof underneath.
