Diesel pump operating arm

Post by shampooefficient »

Looks like my throttle arm (that the cable joins onto) has been bent, probably by me doing something badly.

Is it a case of marking it and unbolting it, and matching the new one to the same place, or is there more adjustment for me to make a pigs ear of, and thus end up crying?

They are bent at a fairly big angle, any pictures?

Yeah, mine has been bent up, I think I've probably jammed a strap under it when I was moving the engine on the crane.

Trying to work out why the throttle cable is too short to reach when I followed the route exactly... Have measured and it's the correct new cable for a diesel RHD.
