Help What Am I Missing?
The footwell, steering column on my 86 LHD looks like it’s missing something at the bottom as I can see the paint work. Any ideas?

Not missing a thing.
Your car was retrofitted with an electric power steering. Some items of it pop out of the steering cowl that was modified to fit.
