Hoping someone can help me, I have an oil leak on the top/side of my engine, just above the oil filter as you look down on the engine, it’s collecting on a small square shaped part of the engine, with 2 Allen key looking bolts in. I don’t think it’s the rocker cover gasket as they’re dry above the leak. Can someone give me any info please, as to the cause and is it something I could do or a garage job, thanks for any help

Re: T25 1.6TD Oil Leak
The cover plate is where the mechanical fuel pump would be on the petrol variant of that engine. Oil always runs downhill it's almost certainly the cam cover seal leaking, they do on all VAG OHC engines. Remove the cover and replace.
