Fuel Cut Off Solenoid

Hi, I assume the fuel cut off solenoid on the 2e3 just unscrews to remove? And can be done with carb in place. Thank you.

Thank you Rob, will do.

Does anyone know how these function please. I've tested it on the bench and I expected the holes to become completely see through, but the inner rod only seems to move a little bit to open up tiny gaps where the holes are.
