Does the Panel Think ..

Post by THE KESZTHELY KID »

My Fellow Vanagonaughts ,

I have fitted 'Bezza', my Westphalia Joker with a set of 15" GoWesty OEM Replica Alloy Wheel Bundle [Bus/Vanagon] along with a set of 315/65/15C Goodyear Cargo-Grip tyres Image

I was fishing for ideas about what fellow T25 Guardians suggested for tyre pressures, Front and Rear.

Surely you mean 215/65?

If so, start with the same tyre pressures as the 205 carat tyres (2.1 bar front, 2.8 bar rear) and adjust upwards to suit the load of your westy

2.5 bar front, 3 bar rear would be my starting point same as a 205R14C

Thanks Lads,

Firstly my 'Tryping error' as indeed the size is 215/65/15 (Thanks cobblers for the heads up!)

Scouting about on that there website across the pond   39psi Front and 48psi in the rears is a popular suggestion.
