1.9DG aengine metal coolant olpipe replacement.

Post by keynsham1 »

I am replacing a rusted through pipe on my engine. Part 24 in the picture. I have one from JK but the flange that bolts on to the water pump is so out of position that it is never going to fit. Are there any better ones available?Image

The flange is so far out that if I try that, the other end would be about 4 inches low. The flange is not just a bit out of line, it's just in completely the wrong position!

If you have had it less than 6 months simply return it as not fit for purpose, manufacturing error, there should be no argument, if they push back mention this thread and likelihood of further negative feedback - though peeps generally are less than complimentary about JK on here historically, but there's plenty of other places you can post so remind them of that.
If less than 12 months same should apply really but they might try and pull the need to prove it was faulty originally, but really no argument, it's not been fitted as it is nffp
