the low oil presure switch should work without any "option" being required

Ok, it's been a while so I thought I would post an update. I haven't given up on this project and I have been back and forth with the people who designed my PCB and we've been slowly making improvements. I also got a bit of a refund from JLCPCB as they made a few mistakes too.

Good news is that I've made another order and new prototypes should be here in a couple of weeks.
I've had components updated and moved around on the main PCB and I'm trying to reduce/tidy the amount of wires connecting to things like gauges, as I wasn't happy with how messy it was looking. It was also quite time consuming connecting individual wires and making sure they were in the correct order. The latest prototypes include using Micro JST connections.

Other changes were made to the multiplug connector. Older vehicles seem to have traces joined in different places when compared to modern vans. I believe this is for a ground? So I've had 3 different multiplug designs made. Old, New and Manual (connect it yourself with wire). If anyone has anymore information regarding this please let me know.

If anyone has a factory diesel tachometer to sale, please get in touch too. I would like to start making designs for tachometer connections/PCB's in the near future.

Here are some pictures of the new PCB's. Cheers.

I came across this solution too, made in France.

I dont need anything fixing on mine, but there are some other interesting things he's making too.

Good find. Not a bad looking kit. I do like the plastic cover for the PCB itself, I've been thinking of having something 3D printed for mine.

3D Printed case would be easy for these.

Looks like there's a buzzer on that so they may have done somethign with the DOPS.  It's a shame they don't go to the slightly extra effor tof the guage PCB's but if it works..
