Fridge PC fan mod topics?

Yes I have used the search with various terms and checked the wiki but can't find any results on this.
Is it as sumple as just buying a kit with a thermo controller, nail it in, sort and seal the ductwork and forget?

I used PC fans with my dometic absorption fridge . I didn't buy them as a kit as they are very cheap to buy on eBay. I used a bank of three fans for the Fins at the back of the fridge, and two fans for the fins inside the fridge itself. I simply wired them in   with fuses and switches. Seems to boost the chilling capacity of the fridge as well as the speed of cooling down. The consumption of electricity is negligible  and you can switch them off when you want.philmcC

Thanks Phil, for £45 inc post I can have a 2-fan system with an automatic thermostatic variable speed controller. I won't make what I can buy!
I know that the ductwork around the hot side of the fridge isn't well sealed and that doesn't help at all, but last summer we saw over 30°C in Cornwall for a week and the poor old Dometic 3-way in the "white wheeled towable shed" worked hard on gas, especially as the vents are in the awning (great for windy weather but not for high summer)
