Blower motor died and in no rush to start removing the dashboard. Has anyone got experience and recommend any of those 12v plug in blower?

They're utterly useless.
At best, they're able to generate a max 150w of heat when plugged in to a cigarette lighter socket on the van,
As a comparison, the OE heater matrix is over 5000w.

Yeah not got much chance with anythig 12v.
My heater is fine, but on frosty mornings in whatever vehicle I am using , I have my 700Wh Powerbank and a 600W Ceramic mains heater. Produces enough heat to thaw the screen. And I recharge it at my workshop where electricity is free
Or put a 2KW fan heater on an extension ( long one if your not going to stay on the drive )..

Get a window vac to clear the windscreen for now until you do decide to rip the dash out to replace the blower motor.
