Hi everyone
I'm going to be fitting a second hand VW speed shop exhaust to my 1.9 DG. I'm going to have to disassemble the exhaust top bring it back home in my daily, so I'm thinking of getting new gaskets, however vwss no longer sell the gasket kit. Does anyone know where I can get new gaskets, despite vwss no longer selling them.

I would imagine the gaskets from Brickwerks should do.VW Exhaust Kit - T3 / WBX / 1.9l / >'86 (brickwerks.co.uk)

Re: VW Speed Shop exhaust
Its the early exhaust gasket kit, comprising a pair of 2-pipe/three bolt gaskets and a repurposed tailpipe gasket for the collector/silencer joint. I have some NOS VW ones in stock but the bolts are too short. Very high quality however they do have an asbestos warning label. Sealed packets.

Re: VW Speed Shop exhaust
Hi I have just read your article on VWSS exhausts. You are about a year ahead of me, I did contact VWSS a few months ago when I was offered a used exhaust and was told I could purchase exhaust gaskets. After purchasing the exhaust, VWSS ran out of gaskets! I since had an email that they are back in stock, but they are shown as out of stock on site and I don't seem to be able to get a reply from VWSS. Did you ever find any suppliers of suitable gaskets? If not I will be forced to get my saddle punches out and make some. I'm not trying to have a pop at VWSS, just save a bit of time and learn from others experience. It looks a lovely well made piece of kit and it needs to be fitted rather than taking up room in the workshop. Thanks in anticipation of a bit of a reply.
