Re: ASM Gearbox info
Paul,
ASM should be a 4.57 final drive, 32/7 toothed crown and pinion, has the taller 2.25 second gear (hence the S in the code) and an 0.85 fifth gear, so slightly shorter geared in 5th than an AAP, which makes sense as it's a 1.9 WBX box rather than a 2.1 WBX one; they are often decent basis for a rebuild and are late so almost all have the late 4th5th Syncrohub which is slightly less prone to cracking

Re: ASM Gearbox info
Paul?
Thank you for the information. Sound like it's a box I will keep hold of, I have an aap as well but that kept popping out of 5 so will probably use this one.
Going to be mated to an 1.9 AAZ TD
