Would this work

Post by TONYT25T25 »

Last time I broke down, the RAC got me going by cleaning the carb at the float chamber level. Jets etc. If it were to happen again would spraying easy start directly into the Carb and quickly starting engine maybe kick start engine into life and get me moving.

It might work, it might not.
You need to address why the carb is getting blocked in the first place, really

Agreed, I need to get a partial rebuild kit, gaskets etc, just thinking if it would get me going enough to get out of trouble and traffic to a layby etc. I am wondering if trying this would maybe clear any blockage due to compression, suction and vaccum creation as a result of the introduction of the easy start.
