Hi,
The boot on a pretty damn new cv joint has come away.
Is there any chance of me taking it off and poking it back in or is it a new one?
The engine was just rebuilt so I’m guessing they over stretched it getting it out/in.
For added jeopardy, I get a ferry to France on Tuesday afternoon so getting a spare in time…
Any chance of a fix?
Cheers.

To save it knackering your holiday, I'd just get one of the cheap chinese shafts off brickwerks, they're only about £55.

whereabouts are you? I have a complete CV joint kit in Bournemouth you can have, or if you're catching the ferry from Poole you can grab it on the way through

yes, realised that, the offer of the kit was to take the lot (free) if passing here on the way to the ferry and use whatever needed
