Anti-roll bar

Hello. My anti-roll bar bushes need replacing, can my van be driven (carefully) without the bar and drop links in place, whilst I clean up/paint bits. Or is this not a good idea?

Yes i drove mine for some weeks without the entire set up while i was waiting for parts many years ago when such things were hard to get hold of , just be aware it will roll !!
