1z tdi ecu

Hi, I'm running a 93/94 1z tdi with the 68 pin ecu. Struggling to get coms via diagnostic plug( it's the old two pin type) anyone help me out with diagram for the diagnostic plug or know if it's possible to fit eobd to early type? Thanks in advance

I'd acquire and hook up a 'normal' 16-pin OBD port.

Pinout:
T16/4 Earth
T16/7 K-line -> ECU T68/61
T16/16 Batt+ via fuse

The early plastic-cased ECU will be OK with VCDS, but you need a later metal-cased one to work with a Scangauge type reader.

Hi

I know this is very old, but I need your help for Golf mk3 1.9 TDI 1z engine - 1996 year

I need to know for MAF, 13 Brown/Red G70 Air Mass Meter, and 19 Red/Green G70 Air Mass Meter are for what ? 

MAF Signal (output)
12 Volts DC
5 Volts Reference (provided by ECM) 

I need to test MAF, but I cant test it without this information.
