Hi all I have had a camper for few years now but never got round to using the water or gas hob(lpg) does anyone have a guide on how to get these working or how to clean the tank out as I would imagine it has some stale water in it
Flush the tank a few times with hot water ( easy for me to say I have a Hotwater outside tap ) . then fill with Puriclean, then rinse again. Each time run it all through the tap to clean the lines.
LPG, the hob should work no problem if the rubber lines are not perished.
Thank you luckily enough I also have an outside hot water tap to, I am away camping now and have put it on the hook up, however I tried turning tap on and pump didn’t make a sound, is there a relay or anything I need to check
It will depend on the build, each coachbuilder may have done it a different way. My autohomes has a switch to turn on power to the pump system but there are microswitches in the taps to actualy run the pump.

Hi. You don't say what van conversion you have. Mine is a 1990 Holdsworth Villa 3. It doesn't have a pressurised system. The pump is operated by a foot switch and there is a non-return valve (which can stick) near the tank. Power comes from the Sig unit (dedicated switch). If yours is a pressurised system then there will be a pressure switch which operates the pump when you turn on the tap (pressure drops).
