Fellows 2 Burner and grill.

Post by Che »

Good evening all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if spares for the Fellows 2 Burner hob and grill are available?

Out yesterday and the right burner works and the same goes for the grill.

The left burner just goes out no matter what position I put the knob.

Not sure if it's an easy fix? Or a r replacement hob?

Took the top of the left burner off and it's all rusty!

Pretty sure there's something wrong πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Any ideas?

TIA

Andy

I don't think you can get Fellows spares anymore unless they crop up on Ebay etc. Fellows cookers seemed to be swapped out for Spinflo 2 cookers but I don't think they are available in this country anymore but can get them in USA and New Zealand. There are a couple of threads on here about it. However these look to be a good replacement but you'd need to check it's size.

I did see that and it looks pretty good. Have come across a second hand Fellows hob on eBay, but currently untested, so not willing to bid.

Not keen on the Spinflow, not really in keeping with the original!

Quick Google and Trust Pilot look and negative reviews and possibly a scam (I'm not qualified to legally state what a scam is)! So will go with a scam

They have jets like carbs that can get blocked , a pin will usually clear it out, They are removable easily with a socket

It maybe just needs a new thermocouple, you might be able to use a universal one , I needed one for my original fridge . Some of the websites wanted Β£60 odd , I took the old one off and matched it up with a universal one for Β£6 from local heating components supplier.Β
