Leak off pipe - clips?

Post by shampooefficient »

Afternoon all,

First job since getting the van to SEHQ after winter, was to find the diesel leak that it's developed. Easy find - leak off pipe doing its best impression of a decorative water feature.

Going to get some pipe and renew them all - should they have any sort of clips on or are they purely a friction fit?

TIA :)

No clips, it’s not friction it’s rubber clamping force

"rubber clamping force" sounds like a terrible bunch of superheroes.

But thanks for the quick answer - much appreciated. It has no service history so there's going to be lots of things I'll question... Factory spec... Or buggered about with by the 12 previous owners... :D
