Fuel not getting to filter / Injectors problem Help Needed

Morning all,
I am in an unfortunate position that my T25 1.6/7TD JX(slightly altered) engine is not running.
Im having an issue with starting it. Been sluggish last few starts but runs fine when going.
I have not started it for a couple of weeks now and attempted the other morning and it would keep cranking but wouldnt kick in. Ive checked the fuel in-line to filter and its very dry (fuel not getting to it i think). What I am after is if anyone knows of a local mechanic (T25 expert) to Lydiate north Liverpool that would be able to come out and get it running or atleast guide me as to what needs to be done.

I had a similar issue, if your fuel filter has the thermo valve fitted id check the seal on it. Mine had perrished and and after a period of days without use would alow the fuel to seep back to the tank. And then make inital starting hard as it was also allowing air to be sucked in.. An inline filter between injection pump and. Main filter will. Allow you to see whats going on. Obviously could be several other things but its a simple check

Thanks Ill have a look but not 100% what im looking for, as thats the reason I am hoping someone might know a T25 mechanic in our area

Aidan good to hear from you, hopefully you are still sorting gearboxes, Ive emailed 81a forgotten all about them,
hopefully theyll have a mobile mechanic as this beast is'nt moving anywhere.
