Window Winder/Handle Replacement (Smaller)

Post by The Hairy Camper »

I was replacing the worn out speakers on my van today. The passanger side is mounted well and doesn't hit the window winder/handle, the drivers side unfortunately does.

I thought I could move it over slightly, but it's not going to work as you will be able to see holes and the cut up door card.

So I wondered if there is a smaller door handle that would fit? I probably need something 1cm or 2cm smaller?
Or maybe a spacer?

there are spacers available that space out the winder further from the speaker

Cheers, any links to these?

I've just been looking at some metal replacement winders that seem to stick out further too. Honestly think that my original winders look better though.

They're not original T25 winders are they?

Look more like Bay ones to me.

The picture just shows the metal part underneath. I was getting rained on so just took a picture of what could at the time. I removed the plastic cover the other day.

Cheers, mine are definitely missing some spacers. They would give me the necessary clearance, I think.
