Help identifying Pierburg 2e3 part.

Post by luke_anderson »

Hi all!

Hoping someone can help me identify this little guy? I’ve stripped down my Pierburg for a rebuild and I bagged everything as I went, got to the end and then saw this on the bench, I cannot for the life of me figure out where it goes or if it’s even from the carb 😂

Thank you, I have requested access to view the files so hopefully that will give me some insight as to this mystery part, I've looked over so many pictures and cannot see one anywhere 😂

I have indeed, unfortunately they are 2 of the resources I had already looked over 😣 Just got no idea where it came from!

I have watched it but maybe i'll have to watch it again. Mine is an earlier carb though so not sure if that makes a difference.

The only difference I think of, is the earlier carb didn't have a brass valve to the pull down.
