Hi, bought a set of these, went to mount them today and its not clear if the whitewall is intended to clip to the trim ring or wheel in anyway. They are not intended to seat under the tyre bead which is why I opted for them.

I think the lack of replies is down to very few of us if any, have put these on our vans.

Just something to consider..... I read an article some years ago from someone who had fitted the type of whitewall ring that does fit under the bead of the tyre. That isn't actually relevant though. But what happened was the relative movement of the white ring against the tyre ended up wearing deep grooves in the tyre and they ended up having to replace them. I assume it was because the tyre is always compressed at the bottom and as the wheel went around the whitewall part rubbed up and down.
