part number needed

Post by Che »

festive greetings to all!.

I've sprung a coolant leak 😟, unsure of part number. It's the pipe that goes from the expansion tank to the water pump? The pipe has got a split where it's gone across the alternator belt ( alternator has been off due replacement of the voltage regulator) so the belt does need replacing now due to the leak!

I think it's this part Image

Is it easy to replace?

It's for a 1.9 DG

TIA

Coolant hose that connects the Large metal pipe on the left side of the engine bay to the header tank.

With the long tail that goes up to attach to the choke housing on DG (&SP) code watercooled T3 models.According to brickwerks description

have you ordered a new one from Heritage or JK, or should I look through my boxes of hoses to see if I have a used genuine one ?

Hi Adrian, thanks for the offer. I've ordered off JK, should be with me by Tuesday! Just got to hope the weather doesn't get to bad as I have to work on the van outside and not sure how long a job it is.
