Any one got a diagram for the fuel system, bit lost atm or an explanation.
Two lines out of the tank, one each side
Let’s call the right side line A, goes to the filter, in the angle pipe and out the angle pipe, and into the fuel pump.
I take it this is the main supply?
Left side, line B, goes to the filter , in through a white valve and out again (what’s this for?) and into the other end of the fuel pump, so how does this work, what’s the 2 lines about.
I’m looking at fitting a 12v dc fuel pump to help, which line and where’s best to fit it?
Thanks for any help

This is the return line.
The connection on the fuel filter is a preheater valve which helps the diesel fuel to heat by the heat generated by the pump.

The part of the fuel that is returned from the pump, will not go back to the tank, and will be recirculated. This will ensure the hating of the fuel, and will prolong the service life of the filter.
The system is designed to work without an external feeder pump. Adding one will have affect the characteristics of the system, possibly to the negative side.
If the fuel system struggles to pump the fuel out of the tank, nothing will cure the fault except a thorough diagnostic procedure.
