Rubber door steps

Post by rollercoaster »

I had the steps welded some years ago,
nice job, and as per original,
the welder fitted new rubber steps.

I never liked them, very plasticky.
Slippery when wet too.

I am going to guess there are variations..
can anyone point me to the quality item?

Go searching for some good original ones, they should be "rubbery" not plasticky. All the repro ones will be the same i.e. cheap and disappointing.

I say this is one repro item where they are all the same.
Baxter has the best bits but I guess his are also the plastic type.
Mine are the same. look good new but are just not practical.
A business idea for you perhaps.

I usually (always?) buy from BW.
Thought to get some opinions meanwhile.
I shall let you know how rubbery they are!
