Doka outer cill replacement

Post by davegeezzer008 »

Hi guys my o/s outer cill under the rear cab needs replacing, has anyone had a go replacing it? Will I be able to drill the welds out inside joinind the fixed door panel and floor then get it off then slide the new panel in to re-weld.
I've bought the new cills from Schofields, they come in two parts and bought B pillar bits as there probably shot.
I've replaced camper cills before but not a doka.
:ok

I would say you should be able to , the sill extends reasonably far in so plenty of space to get tools in, should be a few spot welds through the large panel. Into the sill

Cheers Davidoft1 appreciate your reply,  Logically I can't see it being a problem unless the door panels got a load of filler in it lol. as the panels come so far in onto the floor I think it should be easier than van - Hopefully
