I'm about to fit a SVAD to my 2ltr cu petrol engine with twin dellortos. Thinking about fitting an anti pulse valve in the vac pipe near the carb. Do these make much of a difference. Also what is the correct position for the rotor when at TDC. I've got the white paint mark that's in the V on the flywheel inline with the 0 on the scale and the rotor is pointing to 4 o'clock. Is this correct as some people say the rotor has to point at number 1 plug. IM BAFFLED

Assuming No1 piston is at the top of its firing (not exhaust) stroke, the position of the rotor will point to No1 plug lead. I'm sure mine are at the 4 o'clock position. I think the Haynes manual states this.
